Director
Simon Faurie is a French citizen, currently living in Uganda. He has a Master’s degree in Physics from the National Institute of Applied Sciences of Toulouse in France (INSA Toulouse).
Simon started his career in 2006 with Schlumberger as a Field Engineer, Measurement While Drilling (MWD), in Angola.
In 2007, Simon was hired by TOTAL E&P and he specialized in Geophysics, first in Aberdeen (Scotland), where his strong focus was on developing his Geological and Seismic Interpretation skills.
Then, in 2009, Simon moved to South of France, in PAU, where he did the Seismic Interpretation for a Field Development Plan of an onshore field in Nigeria for TOTAL E&P.
In 2011, Simon started his journey in Uganda where he is now still living. Simon participated to build TOTAL E&P Uganda, he was the first Geophysicist of the Ugandan subsidiary and was in charge of the exploration and appraisal of Block-1.
In 2013, Simon was promoted as Deputy Chief Geophysicist and worked on the 3D Seismic Acquisition in the Murchison National Park, highly sensitive environment. During his time in Uganda, Simon also participated to the preparation and operational follow-up while drilling of the intensive Well Drilling Program (30 exploration/appraisal wells drilled in two years), as well as the supervision of the Vertical Seismic Profiles (VSP) acquisition and processing.
End of 2014, Simon was transferred to Norway in Stavanger, where he was working for the New Growth department of TOTAL E&P Norway for the 23rd round exploration for Barents Sea.
Then in 2015, Simon was hired by ENGIE/Gaz De France (GDF-Suez), in Algeria, where he worked for a field development, as the Principal Geophysicist.
Simon came back to TOTAL E&P Uganda in 2017, to work as the Coordinator for the G&G Surveys for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP).
In 2019, Simon left TOTAL E&P to found Geology & Geophysics Skills - Limited (G&G Skills), based in Kampala, providing Training, Capacity Building and Consulting Services in Petroleum Geosciences and Drilling.

Wadia Sukaria has more than 24 years of significant oil and gas experience, joined Schlumberger in 1992 and been involved in all aspects of well testing services operations including well planning, technical studies, sales, field Operation & Project management, HSE advisor, have significant amount of onshore and offshore experience and management skills, worked with various Oil & Gas operators, in more than 14 countries in 3 continent, Experienced in exploration and development, completion and workover wells, high temperature /high pressure and high production wells, heavy oil, foamy oil, deep water (drilling ships, semi-subs), jack-up, land jobs, including DST & TCP, slick line, surface well testing , downhole gauges, surface read out, gravel pack, setting packers, data acquisition, subsea, attended lots of acid stimulations, sand Fracs, thermal Fracs, coiled tubing, wireline & snubbing operations.

Ayman Khorshid has more than 30 years experience working in the oil/ gas industry worldwide with major extensive experience. (5 years) in Directional Drilling and marketing for Mud Motors, (3 years) in Conventional Coring cutting & preservation, (4 years) Technical Training instructor and coordinating Training department, (15 years) in the G & G Operation Petroleum Geology. Experience gained with Marketing and business development for various product lines with Baker Hughes and served as a Conventional Coring & Directional Drilling Manager, and for NOV drilling equipments.
Specialties: Senior Operations geologist, with wide experience in the formation evaluation for HPHT field, and with wide experience in Pore Pressure evaluation /GeoMechanical, GeoScience & Petrophysic
