Gilbert is a Petroleum Geoscientist, with over 5years industry experience. He is highly skilled in Seismic data acquisition, reservoir studies, geochemical sampling and analysis, lithological logging, field mapping, petrophysics, petroleum resource estimation, project planning and management. Prior to being appointed as Operations Manager, Gilbert served as our Petroleum Engineer and was responsible for the development of the training programs, business development and marketing in Uganda.
He was a Seismic Engineer at Teclab Limited during acquisition of 2D seismic data for Kanywataba Block Licensed to Armour Energy Uganda Limited. He is a consultant at Uganda Petroleum Institute Kigumba (UPIK), under the Albertine Region Sustainable Project (ARSDP). He is a member of the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) 314 Technical Committee for Petroleum Standards Development. He is a professional member of SPE and served 2 terms on the SPE Uganda Section Board.
He holds a BSc. in Petroleum Geoscience and Production from Makerere University, and is pursuing a PGD in Project Planning and Management. He holds two Advanced Diplomas in Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance in Oil and Gas from City & Guilds by Kenson School of Production Technology in Trinidad and Tobago, a Diploma in Petroleum Studies from UPIK and several other trainings in the energy industry.

Katumwa William is a Software Engineer by profession with more than 5 year experience in the IT Sector. Joined the professional IT Industry in 2016, worked under different positions such as System Analyst, IT administrator and was involved in different practical IT fields including but not limited to networking, Data Entry and Management, Website Administration, System Analysis and Design, Graphics Designing, Software documentations, Installations, and Computer Maintenance. Part timed in the Teaching and Training industry at both High school and Higher Institute levels as Head of IT Department while lecturing in a number of IT Course units. Joined G&G Skills as an IT Manager up to date. Alongside work, currently doing a Master’s Degree in Technology, Innovation & Industrial Development (MTIID) – Makerere University.
